SESSION 0 Courage My Heart: Introduction to the Heart Compass Method, self-discovery, and creating your daily practice. This private mentorship session starts with identifying your primary challenge. Melissa is experienced at determining which practices will most benefit you. Each private session is 60mins, and sessions are available in person and online.

The Heart Compass Method is used for healing and spiritual development as we wind our way through the seasons of life. This holistic methodology was created by Melissa Bowers, and is based on a compass design which incorporates 7 modules or practice areas, all emanating from the heart, being the central practice. The heart compass has three circles or rings, similar to a spiral representing evolution and growth of the soul: to help us care for ourselves; expanding to our family and friends; and connecting outward into the world.

Melissa Bowers is a meditation teacher, grief guide, and mentor with an affinity to share the intersection of spirituality, grief and emotional healing, creative expression, and finding meaning in our interconnectedness within the divine. 

She is devoted to helping you return to your true self by growing a healthy, inspired and meaningful life ~ full of courage, love and magic.  A core value of her teachings is cultivating lovingkindness (metta bhavana): caring for ourselves, expanding to our circle of family and friends, and connecting outward into the world.  She holds a sacred space for her students to be vulnerable, to explore and connect their own life themes and story, and to find a stillness that allows them to listen with their whole heart.

Melissa explores and shares her personal life themes and story including love, death, courage, and more recently vulnerability, rebirth, and finding joy. Nothing could prepare her for the death of her beautiful 22 year-old daughter, Natasha.  Her life work is dedicated in honour of her.
