In her Mindfulness & Grief: Courage My Heart 8-week program, Melissa shares her 3 personal experiences of loss, as she connects the dots to find a lesson, a meaning, and a legacy in each beautiful life.  This program is limited to 10-12 spaces to allow for a sacred circle of sharing, deep inner listening, and release with healing.  You will be gently guided through the stages of grief – practicing breathing techniques, gentle movements, and guided meditations.  Melissa will share with you how to connect the dots in your own beautiful life, and how to honour your loved ones – using journaling exercises, healing meditations, and art therapy.

Mindfulness and Grief - 8 week program

CLASS FLOW  Our typical class flow for a 2-hour session::
•  breathing practice (pranayama) 10~15mins
•  learning & optional sharing 20mins
•  gentle movements (light stretching or asanas) 15mins
•  guided seated meditation or lying down (savasana) 20mins
•  journaling, art therapy, or creative exercise 15~20mins
•  guided seated meditation or lying down (savasana) 20mins
•  Q&A with optional sharing

This 8-week program is offered once a year in October-November.  It is held in the Barrie area, weekly on Thursday evenings.

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Dates & Location:

Location will be in the south-end of Barrie, and announced closer to the start date.

Please note: There will be no class on Thurs Nov 15th.  The Week 6 session will be a 1-day Silent Retreat on Sat Nov 17th (10:30am – 4:00pm).
